Description 

A Mechanical Design Engineer with experience of Solidworks to is required to join an engineering company based in West Midlands.

The Role:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for producing 3D mechanical designs using SolidWorks. You’ll produce technical documents including (but limited to) user, installation & parts manuals while illustrator (internal training can be given) to manipulate images for use in documents. You’ll Design and develop concepts through to final production design.

You:

To succeed in this role of Mechanical Design Engineer you’ll have experience of SolidWorks assembly, part creation and creating drawings. You’ll have experience of design for manufacture:- Welded frames, Turned parts, CNC machined parts, Mould tool principles, Injection moulding techniques, Fabrication.
