Simply Education are working in partnership with a SEN School who are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to support pupil in Secondary with Maths, English and Science up to GCSE. The School is just on the boarder of Cheshire and Staffordshire. The role would be to support pupils with high functional Autism.
The role would be supporting young people in a classroom setting who require a little more support in their academic and social development. The class sizes relatively small with 4 and 5 pupils within. This gives you the opportunity to spend more time developing and supporting the young people that you work with more effectively.
You will be supported and lead by an experienced team who understand the needs of each of the pupils and will be on hand for guidance and support when needed.
This is a great opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant who is looking to expand their knowledge and try something a little different. The school follow a mainstream curriculum approach which would make this an ideal role for someone who is looking to work in a SEND setting.
If you would be interested in this position, then all we ask is that you have the following skills and experience.
