With a workforce of over 250 in the UK, 12 strategically located warehouses and processing centres and its own fleet of vehicles, this company has the geographic presence to meet specific customers’ demands when time is of the essence. There strategic geography is coupled with technical innovation that has helped shape some of todays modern Carbon Steel grades used in the manufacture of; fasteners, bearings, rollers, couplings and gears to name a few.
Due to continued success and expansion, this company have a requirement for a Sales Executive to join the successful team based in the South Yorkshire area. The principle function of the Sales Executive will be to manage an existing portfolio of accounts to maximise profitability and revenue with an additional onus on riving new business within the designated geographical territory.
. Generate and respond to RFQ quickly and accurately
. Follow up on all quotations
. Win Orders
. Project manage jobs from conception through to fulfilment including full after sale service
. Develop existing key accounts to maximise revenue and margin
. Identifying new business opportunities and generating leads
. Securing the chance to provide quotes for new clients and win their business
. Build relationships with key personnel within the businesses
. Nurture and grow new accounts in accordance with the organisations ambitious plans for growth
. Working alongside an external Business Development Manager to generate new business
Applicable applicants will have a proven track record of successful selling within industrial product distribution or ideally a steel sales background with a focus on high strength low alloy carbon steel, engineering steel and abrasion resistant material. Candidates must have a proven ability to manage top tier accounts and have the ambition to progress their career in a relatively short time frame
Candidates who have held the following positions will be relevant;
sales executive, account manager, key account manager, area sales manager, regional sales manager, technical sales support, business development manager, business development executive
